Residency Program

Information about Grace Chapel's Pastoral Residency Program for post-graduates.

PROGRAM AND POSITION OVERVIEW

The Grace Chapel Pastoral Residency is a two-year mentoring program designed to train and equip church leaders of tomorrow.

Grace Chapel's mission is to help people discover life with God for the good of the world. We believe that the local church can have a huge impact on the world around us and want to see its potential unleashed in Greater Boston and beyond. Part of that impact includes training and equipping the next generation of pastors and church leaders under the guidance of dedicated, gifted, and caring advisors.

The Residency Program is designed to train and equip high-capacity leaders, enabling them to develop and use their leadership and ministry gifts in a healthy and formative context. The work is hands-on, providing a wide range of potential ministry opportunities. Our Residents are placed at one of our campuses, given specific responsibilities, and fully immersed in the work of Grace Chapel.

Residents serve a two-year residency as an Associate Pastor, beginning June 1 of each year. The Residency is a full-time, paid role with full benefits.

REQUIREMENTS AND EXPECTATIONS

Grace Chapel desires to select seminary students or recent graduates who exhibit “integrity of heart and skillful hands” (Psalm 78:70-72). Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to following Christ, ministry leadership ability, a heart for serving the local church, academic excellence, and multi-cultural and/or international experience.
