FoxboroCommunity EngagementFoxboro Page Event
Founders Day is Foxboro's Favorite day as our town celebrates our community with a parade, field activities, and fireworks. Grace Chapel will be hosting a fun zone with two games and a free raffle. We have the volunteering slots broken into multiple shifts, so you can enjoy the festivities and volunteer. Take a look below for role descriptions and the sign-up link. Please note that there will be parking and traffic restrictions due to the parade taking place at 10am. Keep an eye on the Foxborough Founders Day Facebook Page and website to get the most up to date info about parking and shuttles to the Booth Fields, which are off South St. Please sign up for one or two slots at the link below. Even if you can't volunteer, we encourage you to come say hello and check out this incredible day.
VOLUNTEER ROLES:
Setup Crew: Meeting at the Booth field to help unload and set up the tent, tables, chairs, signs, and prize stations so they are ready before the parade kicks off at 10am.
Fun Zone Game Station Host: We will have a giant inflatable ring toss with hula hoop rings, and a basketball duel game. Each game works best when there's one person at the front of the line, one at the game to retrieve balls/hoops, and one to hand out our candy/sticker prizes and raffle tickets. You can swap roles and take breaks during your shift as needed.
Raffle Table Host: We will be hosting a free raffle where people can fill out their info to be entered to win. We will pull our winner shortly after 3pm, but no need to be in-person to win. We will also have postcards and info about Grace Chapel for anyone who wants to learn more about opportunities here.
Clean-Up Crew: Join the second shift of game and raffle volunteers in packing up the tables, chairs, tent, and supplies to bring back to the church, and then help get those items returned to their proper locations once at the church.
