We are a community of boomers, early retirees, and empty-nesters who want to make a difference for the sake of God’s Kingdom and for the flourishing of the world. We seek to energize and mobilize our generation to live lives of significant love, wise influence, and generous involvement. We envision this as a missional community, used by God.

EPIC Gathering for May 8th 
Special Guest: Pastor Bruce Wall

Our EPIC gathering, scheduled for May 8, will be happening virtually. We will be using the new application called ZOOM to engage remotely from our individual homes.

Speaker: Pastor Bruce Wall, our long-time Dorchester-based friend and Christian leader, Pastor, radio and TV talk show host. Pastor Bruce will speak personally and pastorally about fear and faith during this pandemic, as well as challenge us to be salt and light as we emerge from quarantine. We will also have a few minutes to ask him questions.

Lastly, if you are interested, there will also be opportunity to stay an extra 15 minutes at 8pm for a “report back” from our Guatemala/Potter’s House EPIC Team.

EPIC moving forward: Our Steering Team is considering possible options for our Friday night, June 12th, Potluck and Praise evening. For now, hold the date and we will see what is possible.

MONTHLY GATHERINGS

Within each evening we have 3 foundational segments:

1. COMMUNITY: build friendships over food, conversation, and shared experience
2. INSPIRATION: inspire one another and be inspired through teaching from guest speakers
3. INVOLVEMENT: collaborate in various ways to make a significant difference (compassion and justice issues, ministry opportunities, or a mix of other interests).
