We’re excited you’re here! We create environments and opportunities for middle and high school students to ask questions, be curious, explore Jesus and their faith and build meaningful relationships with one other and a group of caring adults. Our church family would be nothing without our students and we feel blessed and honored to partner with parents, families and these students in what God is doing in and through their lives.
East Lexington Student Ministry meets at the East Lexington Campus (48 Bartlett Ave, Lexington) on Sundays, and joins the Lexington campus on Wednesdays in the Large Group Room, on the second floor of 59 Worthen Road.
Middle & high school students meet:
Our Wednesday night student programming consists of time with each other to play games, worship through music, explore the Bible, and learn through small group discussions. It’s a space where we are able to grow friendships and community, and to discover deep truths about life.
On Sunday mornings, Student Ministry begins in the service with the rest of our congregation. We worship together and listen to announcements together before being dismissed (around 10:15am) to start our own study. We break into two groups, High School and Middle School, and take a discussion-based approach to considering the important questions we have about our faith; providing the students with the opportunity to not only learn important biblical, foundational principles but also explore Christianity with others their age in an encouraging and welcoming environment.
